Study of Efficacy of Seroquel XR (Quetiapine) in Combination with CBT for Major Depression and Generalized Anxiety Disorder

We are recruiting individuals who suffer from current major depression and generalized anxiety disorder together. The study is testing the effectiveness of combined cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and medication, seroquel XR (quetiapine), for 16 weeks. All participants will undergo psychiatric evaluation and medical examination for free. Everyone will receive 16 weekly sessions of CBT plus either seroquel XR or placebo.

This research has been approved by the Mount Sinai School of Medicine Institutional Review Board. This research is sponsored by AstraZeneca, Inc.
