Policies for Speakers and Presenters
Registration Policy
All presenters are encouraged to attend the entire conference for educational and networking purposes. To allow you and your colleagues to make an informed decision about participation, please be aware of the ADAA registration policy:
- All speakers and poster presenters must register by February 13, 2012, at the appropriate rate.
- Presenters may not register as guests.
Additional Policies
- Abstracts must be submitted online through the ADAA website by the specified deadline. No abstracts are accepted after the specified deadline.
- All speakers and poster presenters must complete and submit disclosure and conflict of interest forms by the specified deadline. Those who do not submit these forms or resolve any conflict prior to the conference will not be allowed to present.
- Accepted presentations for an individual as first author, chair, discussant, or panelist are limited to two oral presentations and four poster presentations; up to four submissions will be accepted.
- All submissions are peer-reviewed by three reviewers.
- Presenters may not request specific dates or times for their presentations.
- Notification of acceptance or rejection is sent about 60 days after the submission.
- Accepted program chairs can change speakers until February 1. New speakers must complete disclosure and conflict of interest forms and register immediately.
- Speakers and poster presenters are expected to make their own travel arrangements.
- All presenters are responsible for bringing any handouts to the meeting at their own expense.
- Speakers are expected to bring their presentations on a flash drive to upload prior to the beginning of the session. Those who bring Mac computers must bring the appropriate cable to attach to the LCD projector.
- Speakers must confirm all audiovisual requests prior to the conference. No audiovisual orders will be placed on-site.
- Changes to speakers made after February 1 may not be included in the final program.
