Dr. Roy-Byrne’s research interests include the dissemination of evidence-based treatments for anxiety and depression in the primary care setting, improving the quality of care for disadvantaged patients with depression and anxiety, and the use of genetic markers to predict treatment outcome in anxiety and depression.
Clinically, Dr. Roy-Byrne specializes in the evaluation and medication management of patients with treatment-refractory mood and anxiety disorders, with a focus on panic disorder, PTSD, and bipolar II patients.
He has been an ADAA member since 2002.
