CONFERENCE OBJECTIVES
After participating in this conference, participants should be better able to:

  • Identify and differentially diagnose anxiety disorders.
  • Select and apply evidenced-based treatments for anxiety disorders.
  • Develop understanding of the impact of anxiety disorders on comorbid illnesses.

CONTINUING EDUCATION CREDITS
CME/CE credits are available to professionals for an additional fee per discipline. Only professional registrants can receive credits.

The Annual Conference has been planned and implemented in accordance with the Essential Areas and Policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint sponsorship of Tulane University Health Sciences Center and the Anxiety Disorders Association of America. Tulane University Health Sciences Center is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

Tulane University Health Sciences Center designates this educational activity for a maximum of 28 category 1 credit(s) towards the AMA Physician's Recognition Award. Each physician should claim only those credits that he/she actually spent in the educational activity.

Psychologists: The Anxiety Disorders Association of America is approved by the American Psychological Association to offer continuing education credits for psychologists. The Anxiety Disorders Association of America maintains responsibility for the program. CE credits for psychologists are granted on a 1 credit per contract basis.

Social Workers: The National Association of Social Workers has approved the Anxiety Disorders Association of America to offer continuing education credits for social workers.

Counselors: The National Board of Certified Counselors has approved the Anxiety Disorders Association of America to offer continuing education credits for counselors.

This conference has been approved as a Mandatory Continuing Education for Psychologists (MCEP) provider by the California Psychological Association Accrediting Agency. ADAA has been approved to serve as a provider of CE for licensed marriage, family and child counselors (MFCC) and licensed clinical social workers (LCSW) in California.
