You are invited to attend Help and Hope for Anxiety Disorders. This free program, presented by ADAA President and CEO Jerilyn Ross, MA, LICSW, will provide information and resources for people with an anxiety disorder and those who want to support them.

Here’s what you will learn:

  • Treatments available for anxiety disorders
  • What to do when a treatment does not work
  • What you need to know about anxiety and depression
  • How to help a child, parent, or loved one with an anxiety disorder
  • How to find a therapist

Of the more than 40 million American adults who suffer from an anxiety disorder, many describe themselves as afraid, ashamed, or alone. Anxiety disorders are common mental illnesses that include generalized anxiety disorder (GAD), obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), panic disorder, posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD), social anxiety disorder (SAD), and specific phobias.
