If a family member has been diagnosed with an anxiety disorder, they will need your support and help. In some cases, the person may have gone months or years without knowing what was wrong, which can be very frustrating. Their diagnosis, treatment, and recovery could be a long process and, like any other illness, can take a toll on family and friends. Family members often want to help, but don’t know how.
